Summer Medicine: Oxymel for Joy and Health

Learn how to make delicious Oxymel with Marie-Lies of Fleur + Forage, with late summer herbs, like Goldenrod and Tulsi, harvested at Stellar Roots Herb Farm.  Oxymel is made by creating a menstruum of honey and apple cider vinegar, in which plants are macerated to extract their medicinal properties.  Oxymel can be taken straight, or added to sparkling water to create mocktails!  These non-alcoholic beverages are suitable for all ages.  We will start in the fields for plant ID and harvest, and then move to the barn for medicine making.  Students will sample Oxymel and take a jar home to enjoy.
