The Plant Rambles are a great way to see and learn firsthand the plants and trees that grow in and around Atlanta. You can then take that knowledge to your own backyard to learn what is growing in it. The rambler guide shares the plants’ uses (medicinally or otherwise), ways to ID the plant, as well as safe harvesting practices. We meet at a different park every time usually within the perimeter. The rambles last 2 hours. We will ramble together once every season in 2023 (March, June, September, and December) so that we can see how the landscape changes over the year.
The rambles are by donation, with a suggested donation of $20. All the funds will go to support the Fleur + Forage Free Clinic.
The first ramble in 2023, will be on March 19th from 10AM-12PM. Location: TBA.
